Irish Whiskey Tasting featuring 5 of the finest Irish whiskeys available. Please join us for a very special Irish whiskey tasting at Gormley's Pub on Wednesday, March 3rd at 7pm when we will be sampling 5 of the finest Irish whiskeys currently available: Red Breast Small BatchRed Breast 27 Year OldBlue SpotPowers John's LaneMiddleton Very RareOur tasting will be guided by Barry Chandler, a master at discerning fine spirits, particularly Irish Whiskey. Born and raised in Cobh, Ireland, Barry has called the United States home since 2007. He spent 15 years in the hospitality industry in Limerick before leading the Food & Beverage purchasing for four different luxury cruise ships. Barry has also been part of the management teams in hotel groups in Ireland and Austria. Our evening will include samples of the 5 whiskeys noted above, accompanied by some Irish themed appetizers. Additional portions of these whiskeys as well as dozens more will be available for purchase, along with any other items from our full service bar, including the finest perfect pour of Guinness to be had in Northern Ohio. Toasted Corned Beef Sandwiches, Reubens, Sausage Rolls and Shepherds Pies will also be available for purchase from our Wee Kitchen. Cigars will also be available for purchase and weather permitting, our upper deck will be open for smoking them. Participants must be 21 and older. Seating will be provided socially distanced and face masks are required when entering, exiting and moving about. Due to the limited space available, only paid participants will be permitted in the event area. Gormley's Pub promotes responsible drinking and to not drink and drive.
