The Awakening I arise from the soil of the earth. I peel away the old skin and allow the flowers to heal me. I open my eyes and feel the burning of the light. I close them & see darkness. I open again and I see the moon. What a world I live in. I allow the waters from the ancestors to wash over me; from the top of my head saturating my hair. Dripping onto my clothes & chest. I feel the universe in my womb. I feel the constellations of cells in my body being regenerated and reformed. What a time to be alive. I contemplate whether I was ever actually ready to come out of the cocoon. Do you know what it’s like to die? It’s exhilarating to come back. New eyes. New skin. New thoughts. New coding. New grids. New being. New body. New spirit. I was zapped by lightening. My brain is buzzing. My insides quaking. What is rebirth? I come out from the ground. Dirt still stuck to my fibers. Watching. Observing. I am awake. I infinitely spin through the cycles; Of death rebirth and transformation. It never ends. I return to my truth. I arrive to my medicine.
