HARFORD COUNTY, MD — All lanes were temporarily closed on southbound MD 24 Saturday afternoon, according to the State Highway Administration.
At 4:45 p.m., authorities said Route 24 was closed at Route 924.
Lanes had reopened by 4:50 p.m., according to officials.
Harford County is under a winter weather advisory until 7 a.m. Sunday due to freezing rain that could cause icy conditions.
"Roadways are becoming very icy and dangerous," the National Weather Service reported before 2 p.m. "Avoid all unnecessary travel."
