PINELLAS COUNTY, FL — A 61-year-old man from Dunedin has been killed after attempting to walk cross U.S. 19 near Curlew Road. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, on Friday at 8:29 p.m. a 17-year-old Palm Harbor teen was driving an SUV south on U.S. 19 approaching Curlew Road when the 61-year-old man entered the path of the SUV. The Dunedin man died at the scene.
