There were 52.4 average daily cases per 100,000 residents in the previous two-week reporting period. It's important to note that a relatively small number of cases can have a big effect on the case rate, especially in smaller towns. Vaccines The state opened vaccination appointments for people between 65 and 74 years old on Thursday. New London had 1,854 first doses administered as of Feb. 11. About 6.90 percent of town residents have received at least one dose and 41.76 percent of residents 75 and older have received at least one dose. Note: this data comes from the state Department of Public Health and isn't finalized.
