MINNEAPOLIS, MN — One person has died following a building fire Thursday afternoon along the 2500 block of 24th St. East, according to the Minneapolis Fire Department. Firefighters said after arriving on scene, they conducted a search of the building and located a male resident on the first floor. He was given medical attention by EMS crews on the scene Fire crews said they then found a second resident in a room who was pronounced deceased. The fire is now under control but the cause remains under investigation, the fire department said. One male resident found on 1st floor and being treated by EMS.
