Job Description Sebago Dock & Lift is a growing Dock & Boat Lift sales and service company located in Naples, ME in the heart of the Sebago Lakes Region. The dock service branch of our company is continually expanding and we are currently seeking Dock Service Crews to join us for the 2021 season. Dock service is a very unique job that takes place outside in all-weather from roughly April 1st through the end of November and requires service crews to get in the water in wetsuits to install and remove the dock systems. This job includes but is not limited to: Installation and removal of aluminum and wooden modular boat docks Installation and removal of Aluminum Boat Lifts and Canopies Installation and removal of Mooring systems Service and Repair of wooden and aluminum dock systems and boat lifts. Requirements: Experience with dock service is helpful but not necessary. This is a subcontractor position, general liability insurance will be required A pickup truck or work van Tools: basic hand tools, basic cordless power tools. Some tools are specific to this job all of which we will provide to new dock crews at cost. Willingness to work hard and learn a new job Dock service is a very unique job that takes place outside on our clients waterfront property in all types of weather from roughly April-November. Dock service requires service people to put on wet suits and get into the water to set up docks and boat lifts. Dock service is a rigorous job, it requires some heavy lifting, lots of walking up and down hills while carrying tools, and other physical activity. Dock service is "piece work" so you get paid a set rate for every piece that you service. Sebago Dock & Lift subcontractors receive top pay for their work and our top producing crews make a very handsome years pay in just eight months. Peak times of the season (may, june, july and october and november) may require dock service crews to work weekends to keep up production.
