It breaks my heart but I need to find these guys a new, proper home as soon as possible.
These two are my goldfish babies, Glory and Cherry. They're around 2 years old, 3-4 inches. I love them dearly and because I'm unable to give them the home they deserve as soon as they need it, they're in desperate need of a new home. If anyone who's able to pick them up has a cycled 70-80 gallon or bigger tank or even a pond that's understocked I would be so grateful. I've wanted them to live their best life ever since I acquired them. They're such cuties so full of personality and they deserve a proper home.
::[REQUIREMENTS]::
** Must be at least moderately experienced and very knowledgeable about goldfish and their needs
** Must send picture and/or video proof of their aquarium or pond setup with a piece of paper or note card with "Blub blub" written on it visible in the photo or video.
::[BACKGROUND INFO]:: Glory was the "family goldfish" for the past 2-3 years prior to me moving and claiming her as my own. She lived in a 20 gallon which is too small for goldfish, and this year I was finally able to give Glory and their tankmate Cherry an 85 gallon Tuff Stuff tub to be their new home. Unfortunately, earlier in the fall, the cycle crashed on the 20 gallon leading to both goldfish getting sick. It's been a long battle, but after an antibiotic treatment the bacterial infection is gone. However, the new tank has been and is still taking forever to cycle and the daily water changes I've been having to do in their now-hospital tank is really taking a toll on my carpal tunnel syndrome. I just can't do it anymore...and seeing them stuck in the 20 gallon every day and not knowing how much longer they'll have to be stuck in there until the 85 gal cycles (which even with seeded media I managed to get, has been taking far too long) has been very saddening.
