A's Win Lawsuit To Fast-Track Howard Terminal Ballpark; Port Tenants File Appeal

CBS San Francisco February 12, 2021 OAKLAND (BCN) – Following a court ruling Wednesday, Port of Oakland tenants filed an appeal the same day to keep the Oakland A's at the Coliseum site. Alameda County Superior Court Judge Noel Wise on Wednesday dismissed a suit against the A's by tenants including the Pacific Merchant Shipping Association, Schnitzer Steel Industries, Harbor Trucking Association and the California Trucking Association. Wise's ruling allowed for an expedited environmental review for the Charles P. Howard Terminal ballpark while the tenants want the A's to build a new park at the Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum site in East Oakland where they play now. Read more at CBS San Francisco
