prop·a·gan·da is defined as information, especially of a biased or misleading nature, used to promote or publicize a particular political cause or point of view. Coronavirus is not a hoax or an overblown mild flu bug that's just going to go away. We know that now from experience. Half a million Americans have died from Coronavirus (Covid-19). 10% of the US has been infected. 1 out of 10. That will become 1 of 9, 8, 7, 6, 5.... In time someone in your family will have coronavirus. The mortality rate is approx. 1.7%, but long term medical problems is approx. 2% as far as we know. The Chicken Pox virus that people had as a kid remained dormant for decades in many people and returned as shingles later in life. We don't yet know the long term effects of Covid-19 returning decades from now. Many people are still resisting masks for political reasons. Natural de-selection is when the nature to ignore health guidelines leads to infection and death or lifelong health problems. In that way, Covid-19 is thinning the herd of the ignorant. You can say this is propaganda. Is it? To err on the side of caution is to choose to follow health guidelines just in case this might be true. Wearing a mask is way better than being placed on a ventilator, dying alone in a hospital or spending the rest of your shortened life dragging around an oxygen tank or having frequent blood clots, aneurysms, mental confusion, etc.
