A well-established, Five Star Reviewed, Certified Automotive Repair Shop in Oceanside has an immediate need for a Part-time Automotive Technician!  This is a perfect position for a retiree, or ambitious automotive student who wants to learn hands on! Requirements:  •  Diagnose the causes of vehicles problems and repair the same.  •  Perform maintenance services.  •  Carry out vehicle inspections, testing and safety checks.  •   Keep shop floor area clean and neat.  •  Maintain and organize tools, equipment and manuals.  •  Experienced with most makes and models of motor vehicles and their individual systems and components. Import and Export.  •  Ability to operate electronic testing equipment.  • Detail oriented and precise  • Flexibility in taking on other tasks as they arise in daily operations (e.g., washing/ detailing cars)  • Self-motivated individual who can demonstrate initiative, flexibility, teamwork, and maturity under pressure while demonstrating great judgment and ability to resolve issues as they arise  • Eagerness and desire to take on new responsibilities  REQUIREMENTS: Minimum 5 years' experience  High School Diploma or GED Authorized to work in the U.S. (without sponsorship) ASE Certification a plus!  Bilingual – English/Spanish is a plus! Work schedule:  20-30 hours per week (including Saturday’s) Pay:  $19.00 - $30.00 per hour (Depending on experience)
