Young adult (-2yrs) Tarantula. Hysterocrates gigas or Cameroon red baboon spider. Approx +2.5" (Max size 6"-8" legspan) Was purchased as a sexed female 6 mos. ago but i believe it is still to young to be accurate. Picture is generic, This T is a usually in its burrow so i got a picture similar to the color and size. Will not bring it out to take a pic. (will show upon possible sale and if not sold will take a pic then) Fossorial / Old World /Communal / fast growth rate This is not a Beginner Tarantula. It is fossorial meaning, It creates a burrow and stays there most of the time so it is not a good "showcase" T. It is an Old World species so, can be aggressive and should not be handled. Also its habitat has humidity,temperature ans substrate requirements. (ie. misting twice a week) This species is unique in that it may be communal and also has been seen in water. Currently feeding 2-3 medium crickets a week.
