Eco Handyman - Laborer and Insulator

Jobs

Boulder CO

Description

If you are waiting out Covid, taking college online in the evening, or wanting to get into construction after high school since college might not be your thing, read on, since the construction field is doing well as people are stuck at home and want to improve their homes these days. You must have a drivers license, a reliable vehicle to get to our shop in East Boulder, be reliable yourself getting to work every day, and no hard drug use. Eco Handyman helps clients make their home more comfortable, healthy and efficient. That is good for our clients, and helps the planet because the homes don’t need as much energy to heat and cool them. We are looking for you to join our Insulation and Airsealing Team if you enjoy being part of a team where you help each other, do strenuous work in tough places on your hands a knees like attics above homes, and crawlspaces below homes. If you like hard work with a good team that can have fun at the same time, then you might be a good fit! This video shows the type of work you would be doing with our team: If you have a “Growth Mindset” then you have what we are looking for! We are always learning and trying to do better and rather than fearing failure, we learn from it. If you have played sports, you likely already know what this is like. Even if you don’t have a lot construction experience, reach out to us and let us know why you are interested in our insulation/laborer job. If you are new to construction, you will start at $18/hr, but after you know the basics you will be bumped up to $20/hr, which often takes a couple months but it varies from person to person. If you are an experienced insulator or construction person who is good with power tools and has some carpentry knowledge, you can make a lot more than this, as will experienced insulators who already know how to do all the forms of insulation and airsealing. If you are going to college online in the evening, this could be a good fit for you
