Cardinal Landscape Services is currently looking to hire two landscape laborers. We are an ecologically minded landscape design and maintenance business that operates primarily in the South Hills and East End of Pittsburgh. What we need: - Reliable workers who have a genuine interest in learning and mastering our methods of landscaping. - Self motivated employees who can work on their own and meet company/client expectations of a job well done. - Ideally, someone who is actually interested in plants! It is our plant knowledge and the use of that knowledge that separates us from other landscaping businesses in the area. We are happy to share that knowledge! - Employees with a valid PA driver’s license. If you are able to drive a truck with a manual transmission, that is a huge bonus. If you are willing to learn how, that’s great too. What you will do: - Perform landscape maintenance tasks like weeding, edging, mulching, shearing etc. - Work on landscape installation projects planting trees, shrubs, and perennials. - Travel to supply yards to acquire materials and dispose of plant debris. - Interact with clients when necessary and do your best to provide noteworthy customer service and a professional demeanor at all times. - We are based out of Brookline. Our season begins in late March and runs through the beginning of December. Our work day begins at 8:00 AM Mon - Fri. Pay and benefits: - Starting wage is 14.00$ - 17.00$ per hour, depending on experience. Those who learn quickly, master our techniques effectively, and help us keep our business growing will be rewarded for their efforts through pay raises, bonuses, paid vacation, etc. - Health insurance benefits may be available after a 90 day probation period, depending on worker performance.
