Good morning! See the snakes above? These are ball pythons. The patterns they show are their morph, in this case spider. People go on craigslist and sell spiders with enclosures for 300 dollars total which is a small enough fee for someone to impulse. They see a brightly colored snake and want to adopt it, no knowledge. Spider morphs often have a neurological disorder. It can't be bred out, and may or may not get better as they age. It can range from a soft shake to a violent corkscrew where they can't right themselves. They can get confused and strike glass, your hand, scare themselves, etc. PLEASE ASK THE PERSON YOU ARE GETTING A SPIDER FROM: HOW BAD THE WOBBLE IS, AND IF THE PATENTS OF THE SNAKE HAD A WOBBLE. My friend adopted one from here, she knew nothing of the morph. She got the snake home and tried to feed it as normal, it corckscrewed, missed, struck the glass and now has refused to eat for two weeks. please do your research. Spiders can make amazing pets just like any morph, you just have to accommodate them and be aware. I have a spoder and she is my favorite personality wise. An absolute angel.
