drummer, looking to start a sort of djenty, progressive/technical metal/death metal. Instrumental stuff would be an option, examples would be Animals as Leaders, Plini, Intervals, Victoria, and Covet. All I ask is knowledge of music theory and rhythmic theory; polyrhythms, odd time signatures, metric modulation, rhythmic displacement, permutations, stuff like that, definitely not a must though. Influences like The Contortionist, The Faceless, Sentinels, Pathogen, Exist, Beyond Creation, Inferi, Entheos, Origin, Carbomb, Equipoise, Satyr, Erra.
