To give you an idea of the feel I'm looking for...some of my favorite influences are Periphery, Vildjarta, Megadeth, Monuments, Norma Jean, early Northlane, Liturgy, Mayhem, Burzum, Meshuggah, Tool, and funnily enough a lot of 90's like STP and Alice in Chains. I play an 8-string and a 7-string.
