Description

Go Outside and Play! "Less screen time and more green time!" Go Outside and Play! Cedar Tree Learning is offering Spring sessions to children ages 3 and up for less screen time and more green time. Come make mud pies, build a tree fort, or learn to make a daisy chain while watching the wonders of nature this spring. We will start off at the 6th street entrance to the Columbia Children's Arboretum and then hike and play along the loop trail. We will interact with the signs of the new season all around us. We will share stories and songs as we watch migrating birds returning to their spring creek and meadow homes, paint and draw what we observe closely in the trees and flowers and feel the JOY of outdoor exploration. Snack will be provided. Please bring a water bottle and weather appropriate clothing (rain or shine!). I look forward to learning with your child. You can contact me through: www.cedartreelearning.com [email protected] Instagram @Cedar Tree Learning *10% discount for siblings and multiple day registration. There is a playfulness in nature, in the skies, woodland, and soil. The time of plenty is coming and the joy of coming abundance energizes the air. In rain or shine, there is a new warmth, inviting the lips to smile. The greenness of the grass is soon to be echoed by the trees, while the flowers promise their rainbow garland to our Earth. - Angela Abraham
