I'm looking to hire a flooring helper who has experience with vinyl plank. Experience is a must. I need someone reliable with their own vehicle. Preference will go to someone with a truck. Most jobs are on the east side of town in the Broadripple, Carmel, Fishers area, but occasionally I'll get put on a job on the southside. I need someone who will show up on time regardless of where the job is. Jobs start at 9 and most days wrap up by 4:30. I need someone who will be respectful of my customers' homes and possessions. That means showing up looking presentable, not leaving cigarette butts in the driveway, no drinking on the job, using furniture sliders on brand new flooring, etc. I only do remodels, so these homes are always occupied. I work 6 days a week and it'd be nice to cut that down to 4 or 5. That's where you come in. If you can help me get these jobs wrapped up a day or two sooner, I'll be happy. Job requirements and expectations: - Knowledge of floating floor installation and tongue/groove systems - Removal of carpet, tack strip, and all other existing floor types - Light subfloor repair/float - Moving furniture - Making cuts with jigsaw and table saw - Baseboard/shoe installation - Appliance hookup - Help with trash disposal - Occasional tile/concrete board removal - Doorjamb prep - Loading in materials - Keeping workspace cleaned up If this sounds like you, send me an email with your experience and qualifications and we'll take it from there. -
