Ancient, reflective evening prayers of the church for the first part of Holy Week, preparing us for the great three days of the Triduum Tenebrae (literally “into the shadows”) is based on the ancient evening prayers of the church during the first part of Holy Week, and prepares us to walk with Jesus on his way to the cross and tomb. We will pray Tenebrae as a set of three reflective services on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of Holy Week, streamed live from St. Paul’s.
