Join our in residence knitter Keri Puglisi, of Loops by Keri knitwear and co-owner of EmmaLoops Craft studio, to learn to knit with friends! In this class, we’ll learn how to make a scarf such as a beautiful infinity scarf or twisted drop stitch scarf! This class is PERFECT for a new knitter or as a refresher or to learn more skills, as each knitter will receive individualized instruction! If you are brand new to knitting, you can purchase a kit and learn how to get started on a beautiful infinity scarf! If you are a knitter, making a project and are stuck, bring it! Everyone will work at their own pace and can work on their own project! Instruction for right and left-handed knitters is available. Materials Needed: Option 1- Kits with bulky yarn and needles will be available at Nest on Main for purchase with lots of lovely choices of colors and fibers to make a drop stitch scarf or garter stitch scarf! Yardage will vary by yarn chosen. Option 2- Bring your own! If you are bringing your own yarn and want to make the scarf, please bring 75-150 yards of bulky yarn with a needle that corresponds to the yarn you choose. Less yardage will result in a thinner and short scarf. If you would like a very long or thick scarf, more yardage could be needed. Each attendee will receive a Nest store coupon exclusive to this event valued at 10% off one regular priced item up to $100 or 5% off one regular priced item to $1,000.
