Individual family tours at Bank Street Head Start. Learn about our approach to learning and our program offerings. Bank Street Head Start is recognized as an outstanding free preschool educational program in New York City that offers educational, nutritional, and mental health and social services. Our primary goal is to prepare children during early childhood education for lifelong success by helping them develop a positive feeling about learning and attending school. We believe that parents play a crucial role in the education of their children and we work closely with families to provide them with the resources they need to meet their goals. At the family tour, you will discover how our program supports children ages 3-5 to develop their academic, social, and emotional intelligence. Though our classes will not be in session, you will have the opportunity to visit our classrooms during the school tour and speak with the program’s director or assistant director. We have established strong health and safety precautions for our in-person tours and will limit one family per time slot. Face masks are required. Friday dates will have Spanish translation Saturday dates will have Chinese translation
