Description
Duties and Responsibilities: - Plan, organize, supervise and participate in daily warehouse operation and activities, including the receipt, documentation, storage, safety and distribution of equipment and supplies and maintenance of inventory. - Train, supervise and evaluate the performance of assigned warehouse employees; assign workloads to warehouse workers including interviewing, hiring onboarding, evaluating and communicating performance coaching, development, retaining, scheduling offboarding activities. -Train all warehouse personnel, ensuring safe and proper procedures including operation of forklifts and other equipment, comprehension of Company standards including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) requirements. - Coordinate with inventory Lead to ensure inventory accuracy and plan and execute projects - Coordinate with other departments to ensure an efficient flow of warehouse operations - Prepare and maintain a variety of records and logs and prepare reports as required; maintain inventory of items in the warehouse; file records as required; supervise the assembly of inventory printouts and catalogs as required. - Monitor automated warehousing system; operate a computer to enter data, correct errors and control key screens as required. - Operate and demonstrate use of specialized warehouse equipment as necessary; assure proper and routine maintenance and servicing of warehouse vehicles and equipment. - Perform internal warehouse audits and daily inspections -Monitor AMAPs moves and respond accordingly -Create, revise and maintain warehouse standard operation procedures (SOPs) -Own and organize shift; facilitate communication across shifts and leads Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or Equivalent 6 years Warehouse Experience 2 years professional supervision/management experience Strong communication, leadership, teambuilding, organization and time management skills Through understanding of GMP and reverent safety requirements Proficiency in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel and Outlook Preferred Qualifications: Nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, food or consumer packaged goods (CPG) experience Forklift Certification Bilingual in English/Spanish Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. he employee must frequently life and /or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally life or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Job Type: Full-time
