Looking for a FIELD TECHNICIAN who is hard working, motivated, and looking to help our small business grow. Starting wage is a sliding scale based on experience and work history, base wage of $17.00 per hour. Benefits available after vesting period. Must be capable and willing to work on roofs, have mechanical or construction experience and have good customer service, which is essential for our business and must be maintained. Holy Smoke is a small family business that has been diligently serving Siskiyou county for 40+ years. This company has lots of room for growth, we just need someone motivated and willing to grow with us! Job requirements: -Individual must be motivated, dedicated, hard-working, have good customer service, capable of working well with others, but also able to be independent and is comfortable working on roofs, ladders and confined spaces. -Must have a current CA drivers license with reliable transportation. -Willing to work in the field and in the office. -Must be punctual and be prepared with proper clothing and provisions to get you through the work day. -Must be ok with working in extreme weather conditions, necessary weather attire will be provided. -Safety is important and being aware and present is very important! -Must be able and willing to lift heavy objects. -Individual will be helping and learning how to perform installations of wood, gas, pellet and oil burning appliances, along with learning how to become a certified chimney sweep who is capable of performing service work on wood, gas, pellet and oil appliances.
