Apply NOW!! Cleaners perform a wide range of duties to keep a business tidy. They’re also responsible for performing routine inspections to ensure that spaces like restrooms are sanitary. Cleaners are responsible for: •Cleaning tasks such as dusting, mopping, sweeping, waxing floors and vacuuming •Refilling supplies, such as toilet paper and paper towels •Cleaning spills, broken glass and other messes up as quickly as possible •Coordinating duties with other cleaners •Performing maintenance activities related to cleaning such as ensuring bathrooms are sanitary •Ordering new cleaning supplies as needed A Cleaner stocks and maintains cleaning supplies, oversees small cleaning jobs throughout the day, such as dusting and emptying garbage bins. They also perform more extensive cleaning at designated times. They may be assigned special tasks, such as cleaning before or after a big project. Cleaners may also have some duties that overlap with housekeeping or custodial work, depending on your industry. Required skills and qualifications: •Great interpersonal and communication skills •Proactivity and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision •Knowledge of health and safety standards and the ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely •Excellent time management skills, ability to multitask and maintain schedule while responding to incidents •Responsible for all basic cleaning in and around residences or office buildings. •Cleans floors and rooms. including dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, picking up larger objects off the floor, and spot cleaning glass and windows. •Cleans restrooms, including restocking dispensers, emptying trash, cleaning and sanitizing fixtures, cleaning mirrors, spot cleaning partition doors and walls, sweeping and mopping tile floors, and cleaning toilets and urinals. •Vacuums, empties trash, and replaces liners. •Sets up, stocks, and maintains cleaning equipment and supplies. •Monitors and maintains sanitation and organization of assigned areas. •Transports dirty linens to the correct area to be cleaned and restocks areas with clean linens. •Assists other departments when needed to ensure optimum service to guests. •Performs additional duties as needed.
