MERCER COUNTY, NJ — A Rite Aid location in Mercer County will administer the COVID-19 vaccines. New Jersey added Rite Aid stores to its list of public COVID-19 vaccine sites for eligible recipients. The state's vaccine hub website now has listed a number of stores in towns in New Jersey and asked people to sign up here: https://www.riteaid.com/pharmacy/covid-qualifier The following location will also become vaccine site in Mercer County: Trenton: 1801 Kuser Road Gov. Phil Murphy confirmed Wednesday that 70 Rite Aid locations received vaccine shipments. State officials expected Rite Aid to only receive about 7,500 doses in the initial shipment. The New Jersey Department of Health has logged 34,252 shots administered in Mercer County. The Pfizer and Moderna vaccines each require two doses per person.
