Press release from the City of Iowa City: February 12, 2021 Community Connection: Dream City's "Wall of History Makers" Community Connection is a video series that highlights the different people and organizations in our community. Each episode, Mayor Bruce Teague interviews guests about a variety of issues that are important to our residents. Dream City, a local non-profit founded in 2012, offers programs for youth and adults to inspire change through advocacy, art, wellness, and community connections. In honor of Black History Month, Dream City highlights Black leaders in our community on social media and on their "Wall of History Makers."
