California Freethought Day celebrates the First Amendment, scientific progress, secular rights, social justice, and civic engagement. Each year, California Freethought Day celebrates the First Amendment, scientific progress, secular rights, social justice, and civic engagement... combining the fun and atmosphere of a fair with the education and activism of a conference.  Join us for engaging speakers, live entertainment, family activities, an authors' panel, and more! Weather permitting, we'll be returning to the beautiful California State Capitol for this outdoor event. If there's heavy rain, we have a backup indoor location reserved. Speakers, Entertainers, Authors, and MoreComing soon. Support and VolunteerFreethought Day is an entirely non-profit event, supported by the freethought community. Your donation helps us cover our speakers' travel, and pay for insurance, advertising, chair rentals, and food for our volunteers. Here are three ways you can help make Freethought Day a continued success: Donate to Freethought Day: Those that wish to support Freethought Day will be recognized in the program and on the website, and have access to our Hospitality Tent filled with snacks and drinks. And you can show your support with a keepsake button, all for just $25. Fundraising Reception: Attend our special evening event on Saturday, the evening before the Main Event, which features live entertainment, a selection of great appetizers and desserts, an open bar, and the company of our speakers starting at $75. Also includes our Hospitality Tent at Freethought Day. Sponsorship: Businesses and organizations looking for exposure can sponsor California Freethought Day starting at just $150. Depending on your level, benefits include having a table at the Main Event, tickets to our reception, on-stage announcements, social media announcements, program advertisements, and more.
