LOWER MAKEFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA — Responding to two phone calls they received one minute apart, police in Lower Makefield arrested a man and woman Thursday for stealing from both Kohl's and CVS on Oxford Valley Road.
At 9:18 p.m. on Thursday, police were called to Kohl's, in the 1600 block of Big Oak Road, where there was a report of a woman believed to have been involved in stealing from the store hiding inside of it.
One minute later, while officers were at the store, they got a call from the CVS a few blocks away reporting a theft there by the same woman.
Officers eventually found the 33-year-old woman at Kohl's and say that she had $222.85 worth of merchandise hidden on her. She was arrested.
Further investigation linked a 35-year-old man from Philadelphia to the thefts as well. He was charged with retail theft, arrested and arraigned before being sent to Bucks County Correctional Facility, police said.
