Vocal Doo-Wop Group...Anyone???

I am "toying" with the possibility of forming a Vocal Group based on the Doo-Wop music of the late 50s and early 60s. I realize this is an ambitious project and in order to do this, the members would really have to know the music, feels and sounds associated with these era(s). Age is an important factor and the willingness to dress appropriately on stage is not negotiable. I have the PA, all necessary equipment and a place to rehearse. In my mind, down the road, I see a backup group (guitar, bass and drums) vocals would be good. I envision to start with, a bass/baritone singer, 1st and 2nd tenor, all who should be able to SING LEAD as well as HARMONIZE. I know there would be gigs and shows available, but, if you are looking to make a living doing this, or are in it for the $$$, this IS NOT for you.
