Press release from the Pleasanton Police Department: Feb. 11, 2021 The City of Pleasanton and the Pleasanton Police Department are excited to welcome Officer Nate Cabral. Officer Cabral is a member of the 169th Academy class from the Alameda County Sheriff's Office Police Academy. Prior to attending the police academy, he worked as a cadet for the Livermore Police Department since 2018. He earned an associate degree in criminal justice from San Joaquin Delta College, where he also played for the football team. Cabral was introduced to law enforcement at an early age, as his mother worked for the Oakland Police Department and his father works for Livermore Police Department. The Pleasanton Police Department is always looking for new members to serve our community.
