Description

Love is in the air this Valentine's Day for residents of Stoneridge Creek retirement community in Pleasanton. The community is celebrating the lovers' holiday with flower grams. Residents wrote love letters to their secret admirers or notes of well-wishes to their friends and neighbors. Each letter was attached to one of 800 carnations the community received from Mt. Eden Floral Company. On February 11, volunteers spent hours tying the notes to the carnations, and on Friday, February 12, "cupid's crew" delivered the flower grams to the 800 Stoneridge Creek residents.
