Description
I unfortunately need to rehome my sweet male veiltail betta. His name is Watson. He’s a sweet and very funny little fish and i don’t have the heart to send him back to a pet store to be put back into a cup.
i’ve had him for 9 months and i estimate he’s around a year old. I had him in a peaceful community tank, and another fish began to display aggression towards him, and he became stressed out. That is my reason for rehoming. It’s my responsibility to make sure he’s happy and i don’t feel i have it within my capacity to do l that at this moment.
I have him in a temporary filtered/heated 2 gallon tank. He needs more space to thrive definitely. At least 5 gallons of filtered and heated water.
If anyone would be willing to adopt this boy, and you’re unfamiliar with betta keeping, I’d be more than happy to teach you the basics! I can give you some of his favorite food as well:)
I know bettas are typically veiwed as fish that can be kept in very small habitats (vases, Mason jars) Without heating or filtration. And that is what i’m trying to avoid for him at all costs.
Rehoming fee will be free as long as he goes somewhere he will be happy:)
