I just moved to New Braunfels from the DFW area. I'm 50 and have been playing for a long time in many different bands and styles over the years. I've gigged as both a bass player and electric guitar player throughout my musical career in various types of bands. I'm equally comfortable on either. In recent years I've also done an acoustic show in solo, duo and trio formats with me on acoustic guitar and singing. I would be interested in doing either again. So I'm interested in bands looking for a bass player and also in other musicians wanting to form an acoustic duo/trio type thing. I'm not looking to gig extensively anymore. A gig every 4-6 weeks would be great for me. Maybe a little more frequently for the right project. Also prefer to skip the late night gigs. Afternoon and evening gigs work well for me. I'm pretty flexible on style of music. I don't want to play much country, a few in the set is fine, but would primarily like to play other genres like Rock, Motown, R&B, Funk, etc.
