Description

hi i am ready to buy some off grid land in the mountains in early spring to live frugally, and eventually hunt and fish, and be productive in growing food, basic shelter, and playing music but this summer i am looking for accomplished experienced musicians, like-minded drama-free non-political happy fun and smart people who are interested in going off grid in early spring AND/OR traveling north america playing music in bars, cafes, and resort bars from the spring till the fall. i have 23 successful summers playing music from texas to alaska and back each summer before all this stuff happened i am developing a 4 hour setlist during this wintertime hibernation i usually play 2-4 hours per gig the songs i select are the most important aspect of what i do the songs i select are considered obscure yet they are powerful wonderful songs i dont write much i just play songs that i love and i give credit to each artist i cross into bluegrass, alt country, rock, atlernative, folk.... i am open to whatever enhances the show i am open to a multi instrumentalist/singer, or acoustic guitarist/singer, i will split gigs and tips 50/50 you will need your own van to sleep in you will need your own emergency fund you will need your own music gear camping gear, etc. all the songs i play have an easy going flow and the words are the focal point nothing too rowdy till the end of the night, the last 3 songs are for that, if needed i play to a wide ranging audience and each song is a masterpiece so i cant lose!!!! a passport to get into canada and a clean arrest record will be necessary i play in beautiful awesome places all summer no big cities i learned alot the last 23 summers, it was an evolution to bliss. i believe it takes 3 things to create true bliss spontaneity, serendipity, and synchronicity not many get to achieve that state of mind i do it for weeks and months at a time in the small mountain communities i play in i volunteer my time and skills to anyone i can help while i am there mostly community libraries in places like wyoming, idaho, montana, alberta, british columbia, the yukon, and alaska i have done every route you can take i know where to play music, where to camp, where to fish, or where to hike you couldnt ask for a better guide/musician yet after 23 summers to alaska and back i have only scratched the surface personally its not stressful or hurried. its easy going and wonderful and hopefully accident free i rarely drive at night in wild country, its a great rule too i am 420 friendly and a social drinker who doesnt drive drunk i dont cross borders with ganj i got hookups in canada soon it will be time to head north, care to join me? i am just throwing this amazing adventure out there to the right person/persons i put a bed in my toyota van and i get a parks & camping pass and its a shot in the dark coming here but its gonna be a new direction i am ready to pursue regardless i can and will do it on my own but i am also willing to share these adventures
