Your opinion only, re 230. In fact they can control content as they choose, just like any other private entity. It's an open market, there are plenty of alternatives, even if they're popular, you don't like it, go someplace else, don't give them your business. I never use 'em.
And re "chose to protect themselves", that's just as much in error - they don't make the laws, we do. They may have wanted it, but we gave it to them. You don't like it, lobby your legislators to change it. But be careful what you ask for. If you think there's "no free speech" in the face of that liability protection, just think what it will be like without it, when they *really* have to CYA and guard against amy and everything you might say or post that they could somehow be held liable for.
