Jazzy Electronic Pop Band Looking for Sax Player

Description

Jazz influenced electronic / pop project looking for an experienced sax player. Should be comfortable soloing through changes, as well as learning moderately complex melodies (ie: Strasbourg St Denis and Lily Was Here by Candy Dalfer, The Working Hour by Tears for Fears, Baker Street by Jerry Rafferty, etc...). The setlist is mostly 80s British Pop inspired original tunes, with some jazz and pop covers thrown in for continuity. Practices are Tuesday and Thursday evenings in Mentor (6 to 8), with an occasional Saturday afternoon (12 to 4). We're preparing to record an album later this year, plus perform live after Covid lets up. Contact Allan.
