The position available is and entry level position for a Flood Demo Technician. We are looking for a person with a positive teamwork attitude, willing to learn and willing to work hard. As a Demo technician, you will work under the Lead Technician or Sales Technician to complete demolition for customers who have experienced water damage or flooding in their home or business. Primary responsibilities: • Move furniture in the property in order to start demolition or to salvage from water damage. • Prepare work area by placing floor protection, plastic containments for dust control and protecting furniture. • Demo/remove damaged materials such as: insulation, all types of flooring, drywall, baseboard, tile, shelving, counter tops, cabinets, etc. • Set-up, move and pick-up equipment inside the home. • Haul and remove debris/trash from property. • Extract water from under house structures and spread absorbent rocks on dirt. Your main goal is to create a safe and peaceful environment for our homeowner while helping to get their lives go back to normal in the fastest and most efficient way possible. The ideal candidate for this role will be a hard worker who enjoys working in person with customers. If you are a great fit, the sky is the limit. Many of our team members start as demo technicians and advance into other career opportunities in Marketing, Construction Field Managers or IICRC certified Flood Technicians. Requirements: • Team player • Organized • Quick learner and able to take direction • Strong work ethic • Ability to lift 50 lbs • Clean driving record with no DUI • Available to work occasional nights and weekends • Reliable Transportation • Minimal demo tools such as: Measuring tape, hammer, prybar, drill, utility knife and general items • Comfortable with the use of mobile phone technology such as: sending texts messages, taking job photos, and updating our information hub through phone app Strongly desired • Prior experience in demolition, construction or restoration services.
