The Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center is seeking a PT Building Attendant to perform a variety of skilled and unskilled tasks in the custodial care of its facilities. Responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of restrooms and other facilities utilized by the Center’s guests, volunteers and staff. Performs other facility maintenance functions and supports special events as needed. Variable schedule will consist of weekdays and weekends, between the between hours of 7am-7pm, with possible additional/later hours for special events. Initial schedule is Saturday-Monday, 10:00 am- 7:00 pm.
Job Requirements:
1. A high school diploma
2. Prior experience cleaning and maintaining facilities
3. Texas driver’s license, w/ dependable transportation
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
5. Ability to use cleaning equipment and handheld power tools.
6. Ability to withstand outdoor conditions.
7. Complete the UT Online Driving Training module to gain certificate to drive a UT vehicle.
