Locally owned Trucking Company is seeking a full time Shop and Grounds Custodian for our Henderson, CO shop/terminal. This is a full time position Monday - Friday Days 8am to 5pm Basic Duties and Responsibilities: • Sweeping Shop floors • Steam cleaning Shop floors • Straightening and maintaining the organization of the Tire Room • Straightening and maintaining the organization of the Oil Room • Painting throughout the property (inside or out) • Changing light ballasts and bulbs • Sweeping and/or shoveling the outdoor areas of the property • Keeping the grounds clean and in orderly condition • Removal of litter or debris from the grounds • Other basic custodial or maintenance duties as assigned Requirements: • High school diploma is preferred but not required • Valid Driver’s License • Dependable and self-motivated. • Able to work independently with minimal supervision • Able to practice time management to complete assigned tasks in a timely manner • Ability to understand verbal and written instructions. • Ability to understand and follow safety procedures. • Ability to safely use cleaning equipment and supplies. • Ability to lift and manipulate heavy objects. • Ability to be on your feet for extended periods of time, walk, bend, crouch, stretch, reach, use hands, operate tools, safely use a ladder, lift and manipulate heavy objects.
