We are recruiting for the following positions: * Sr. QC Lead * QC Hold Area Lead Inspector SUMMARY: These positions are responsible for monitoring Quality Control department activities and training of department personnel. RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS of SR. QC LEAD: 1. Assists the Quality Control Manager with the administration of the quality control program. 2. Determines acceptance or rejection of non-conforming material based on established operating procedures. 3. Assists the Quality Control Manager with semi-annual performance reviews. 4. Previews written quality documents for usability. 5. Develops and administers non-standard test protocol as assigned by the Quality Control Manager. 6. Participates as a member of the Emergency Coordinator team. Acts as Emergency Coordinator as described in Emergency Response Plan. 7. Performs First Aid / CPR as required as an Emergency Coordinator. 8. Supports building security check requirements. 9. Participates as a member of the ISO/IATF/VDA internal audit team. RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS of QC HOLD AREA LEAD: 1. Complies and administers area safety policies and practices to department personnel 2. Coordinates with Senior QC Lead, Production Control and administers shift thru-put priorities 3. Works with production departments on the release of product from the respective hold areas and issues that arise as it pertains to product being sorted 4. Ensure off-shift QC personnel are informed of the inspection status of priority sorts prior to the end of day shift 5. Work effectively with MRB members to ensure complete understanding of the NCP disposition requirements 6. Train all hold area inspectors in established departmental procedures 7. Maintain accurate inspection records 8. Monitor all inspectors and ensure compliance BOTH POSITIONS REQUIRE: PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS 1. Must be able to lift 40 lbs. 2. Have correctable 20/20 vision and not be colorblind. 3. Must be mobile. 4. Must be able to sit for the majority of the shift SKILLS, EDUCATION, AND/OR EXPERIENCE 1. Ability to read and understand instruction in English. 2. Ability to use personal computer and standardized software. 3. Ability to perform all functions of the Quality Control Inspector 4. Demonstrated or proven leadership and basic supervisory skills. 5. Ability to learn and utilize applicable equipment and processes. 6. Ability to write technical documents as needed for the Quality Control Department. 7. Demonstrated or proven problem solving skills.
