Standard TV and Appliance has an opening for a FULL-TIME INVENTORY CLERK to perform duties related to accurate inventory control and reporting at all our Standard TV and Appliance locations. If you are someone who works well as part of a team, have previous inventory and office experience, and have a driver’s license in good standing, then we encourage you to APPLY TODAY! Position duties include: the ability to perform accurate inventory control functions to ensure proper stock of inventory, provide office support to warehouse and delivery personnel, process detailed paperwork and provide service to internal and external customers, plus additional duties as listed below. Candidate must also be organized, motivated and have a great attitude! Position i FULL-TIME. Must be comfortable working a flexible schedule, including Saturdays and overtime as needed. Salary starts at $15-16/hr DOE + BENEFITS. BENEFITS INCLUDE: • Employee Discount Program on purchases • Health and Dental Insurance • Paid Time Off/Paid Holidays • 401K with Profit Sharing! • Stable company atmosphere (over 70 years in business!) • PLUS FUTURE OPPORTUNITIES FOR ADVANCEMENT ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: • Accurately use barcode scanning to perform inventory cycles. • Reconcile inventory cycle on a daily basis. • Key Change of Location (COL), Change of Customer (COC), and transfer information into computer system. • Finalize store sales and credit memos, and resolve any problems as necessary. • Complete stock checks. • Assist sales with any inventory problems that arise. • Tag floor merchandise. • Drive to outlying stores to count inventory. • Reconcile receiving paperwork. • Able to update spread sheets and write basic office reports. • Stay current on all functions of the Delivery Office. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: • Previous Inventory experience. • Detail oriented, good problem solving skills. • Computer knowledge and skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel. • Fluency in English (verbal & written). • Ability to work a 40-hour per week flexible schedule and overtime as needed. • Ability to work positively in a team environment. • Previous office experience, preferably in a warehouse environment. • Excellent customer service skills. • Good telephone etiquette. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks. • Able to qualify to drive a company vehicle.
