Description
The Racquet Club is seeking a maintenance manager to oversee facilities maintenance for our private tennis club. Indoor tennis center with two courts, three outdoor tennis courts and an outdoor pool requires experience with pool maintenance and facilities oversight. Clubhouse features restaurant and bar, fitness center and locker rooms. A beautiful setting with a variety of responsibilities in service of a 200 family membership. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS • Performs and documents maintenance and repairs performed on Racquet Club property, buildings and equipment: o Maintain gutters, roofs and building exteriors o Oversee maintenance of kitchen ovens, coolers, freezers, dishwasher and ice machines. o Perform regular inspections of all light fixtures and make any repairs, bulb changes, etc. as needed. o Maintain nets and curtains on tennis courts. o Maintain records of filters and replacement schedules for HVAC systems and water filters. o Maintain outdoor gas fireplace and propane heaters. o Maintain floor drains, sinks and plumbing equipment in restrooms and locker rooms. • Oversees seasonal activities related to clubhouse, grounds, pool and outdoor tennis courts: o Pool operation including maintaining pool systems and chemicals to specification. o Power washing of outdoor courts and Racquet Club property seasonally or when needed. o Manage seasonal patio furniture and equipment as pertains to general upkeep and storage. o Keep all outdoor spaces free of debris. Empty all outdoor trash containers daily. o Maintenance of outdoor dining tables, chairs, tents. o Keeping walkways, parking lots and entrances free from snow. o Oversee firewood supplies, storage and stocking. o Exteriors and windows cleaned seasonally. • Performs light construction, painting, electrical and plumbing as needed to maintain Clubhouse building, furnishings, art work, office equipment and fixtures. • Assists with Club event set-up and breakdown. • Maintains supplies in Tennis Center: towels, snacks, water, tennis balls, other equipment. REQUIREMENTS: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS • Three years of experience in a building maintenance position. • Pool maintenance experience required. • High School Diploma/GED. • Ability to lift, push/pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds. • Ability to kneel, crouch, bend and stretch in a variety of spaces including low areas and heights. • Ability to work outdoors in variety of weather conditions. • Knowledge of and ability to follow all OSHA safety regulations. • Ability to maintain computerized maintenance records; communicate verbally and written; use email, computer and phone systems. • Work independently with a minimum of supervision. • Professional and positive demeanor. • Ability to communicate effectively with managers, club members, co-workers and outside vendors.
