Peck Solar, a division of iSun Energy is looking for workers to install a Commercial Solar Ground mounted system in Shaftsbury VT. We are an International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Union contractor and all employees must join the union to work on our projects. We need the following: - Journeyman Electricians (licensed in VT): Starts at $22.73 + health and retirement benefits. Actual pay based on experience per IBEW Rules - Apprentice Electricians: Starts at $16.42 + health and retirement benefits. Actual pay based on your hours of experience in the apprenticeship program per IBEW rules - Construction Wiremen or “CWs” equivalent to unskilled labor: Starts at $14.70 (THIS IS THE POSITION FOR ANYONE NOT ALREADY AN APPRENTICE OR JOURNEYMAN) RESPONSIBILITIES Can include anything from moving equipment and digging out the ends of conduit trenches to assisting existing crews with the mounting of racking, solar modules and electrical components. REQUIREMENTS Must be able to work outside in all conditions Must be able to lift 50lbs Must have valid driver's license Must have Steel toe safety shoes Previous construction or electrical experience preferred, but not required.
