ISO med/large dog around mid March

We are closing on our first home the middle of March and are excited to be able to have a dog. Our home will have a large fenced in back yard for the dog to run and we'll be close enough to the park to be able to take her/him on walks when it gets nice. We do have two 6mo old kittens and a 9yr old so no small animal aggressive dogs. We'd prefer an energetic, younger puppy/dog, would also prefer a medium to larger breed to handle an active child and to help the wife feel safer. Would be ready for the puppy/dog around March 20th. Small rehoming fee would be ok. Pics would be great if you have them.
