LOCATION MAINTENANCE & REPAIR TECHNICIAN – Birmingham, AL - Part-Time $14.00 per hour servicing Riverchase Galleria, BHM Airport and Alabama Splash Adventure (seasonal only) $20.00 per hour + mileage reimbursement for servicing Planet Fitness locations Work hours: approx. 20 - 30 hours a week Night, weekend, and holiday availability is required COMPANY BACKGROUND Smarte Carte, Inc. is the leading concessionaire of self-serve vended luggage carts, electronic lockers, commercial strollers and massage chairs, as well as other passenger and guest services. BASIC FUNCTION The Location Maintenance & Repair Technician is a part-time position servicing the Birmingham, AL area with direct responsibility for lockers, strollers, vending units, cleaning of all equipment and maintenance and repair of massage chairs at designated fitness locations. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Working knowledge of equipment and perform maintenance and repairs Maintain clean equipment at all time Submit reports in an accurate and timely manner Maintain regular contact with District Service Manager Ensure a safe working environment by ensuring all equipment is in good repair and working as designed Maintain a positive relationship with the facility management Other assignments as needed EDUCATION Associates or Technical degree preferred SKILLS Working knowledge of equipment Electrical and mechanical equipment repair Excellent verbal and written communication Maintain accurate records Compile reports Proficient in computer and Smartphone use PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Lift 40 lbs. to waist height Push/Pull 75-100 lbs.
