We are looking for motivated individuals who will assist the foreman with inspecting electric underground utilities. Must be willing to travel throughout your region and occasional out of region travel flexibility. (lodging expensed by company) Responsibilities: • Operate in a safe and efficient manner utilizing all required safety equipment (hard hat, safety vest, work boots, etc.). • Carry equipment and supplies to structure being serviced. • Utilize equipment to assist with inspecting electric underground utilities. • Must achieve and maintain acceptable levels of productivity and quality of work based on job norm and in comparison to fellow employees. • Operate company vehicle (if applicable and qualified). • Assist Foreman with maintaining an adequate inventory of equipment and supplies, and maintaining vehicles and work areas in a safe, clean, and orderly condition. • Perform all other reasonable duties as assigned by the Foreman. Qualifications • Enjoy working outdoors in all types of weather and have the desire to actively participate in physically demanding work lifting or moving up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis. You will also be doing a lot of digging around the utility pole to inspect it. • Able to frequently sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk; hear. • Must posess ability to read a limited number of two (2) and three (3) syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers;. print, speak, and understand simple sentences; add and subtract two (2) digit numbers; and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. • Available to work a minimum of five days a week.
