A property scout or “bird dog” (term used in real estate) is a person that simply scouts distressed properties in their leisure time.
A distressed property is one that may be vacant, abandoned, has city code violation signs in the yard, the homeowner is having trouble
paying the mortgage, a divorce, a death in the family, a tired landlord, etc.
The property scout would collect the address, pictures, or any other pertinent information about the property and input that data into our easy to use propriety software.
The property scout can follow along and track the progress made on the property. If it is in fact a deal, you get paid up to $500 from the closing attorney! It’s just that simple.
