Snow Plow Subcontractors Needed pay depends on experience and equipment. Must have a minimum of 1 year experience and a valid Driver's license no exceptions. Must have general liability insurance and workers compensation insurance. These are very easy and affordable to obtain and a must to work for us as a subcontractor. All of our work is in Dearborn, Dearborn Heights, Taylor and Allen Park. Wayne County Snow plow Subcontractor Responsibilities: • Be on call 24/7 • Respond promptly to phone calls when on call. We will not text you so you must answer your phone. • Position requires to work nights, weekends and holidays depending on when the snow falls. • We run Boss straight blades with Boss plow wings and Boss V-Blades. So if you run Boss equipment and have a breakdown I have extra plows for backup. • Must have a good attitude and the want to plow snow. • Must have the ability to work extended periods of time in extreme cold, snow, sleet and through the night and unfortunately some times during the day that can be stressful but necessary. • Must have 3/4 ton or 1 ton truck with plow no exceptions.
