Two adorable & sweet male dogs at Wake County Shelter

I wanted to post about these two wonderful dogs that have been waiting at the Wake County Animal Shelter for a family to adopt them. These dogs came in separately and don't need to be adopted out together, but both are very sweet boys so I wanted to get the word out about them. https://pets.wakegov.com/gallery WCAS 820 Beacon Lake Dr Raleigh 919 212 PETS OPEN 12-6pm daily (7 days/week) Tootey is very gentle and sweet. His whole body wiggles when you go in his kennel to visit. He adores human contact and loves to go on long walks. He walks perfectly on a leash and would make an excellent walking buddy. I'm sure he would be a great "house mate" too since he is calm and sensitive and very quiet. Tootey 219219 - Male 2 years Date In Shelter: 2/4/2021 About Me Hello, Tootey here. Well, I'm thinking you may have stopped by my kennel since I'm the most handsome dude at the shelter. I couldn't agree with you more! Aside from being handsome, I have a great personality too. I'm just a little shy and my whole body wiggles when you visit with me. I absolutely love getting a full body rub. I also love when the nice volunteers take me for long walks. Big hugs, Tootey Victor is fun loving and more energetic. He is not enjoying being in a small kennel alone for 24 hours and is becoming anxious. It's tough to see him being anxious in the kennel and just wanting to be out and be in a home environment. Once outside he is much more relaxed. He walks great on a leash, but when other dogs go by he does pull towards them. I'm sure he will settle down once on a routine with normal socialization and walks. I am a people dog and need to be with my human friends. When I'm outside or with people, I am well behaved (I promise!). I am just not happy being in this kennel so I make as much noise as possible to get your attention. I do like to go on long walks and I walk great, but do pull some if other dogs go by.
